This is a peaberry varietal that comes from multiple small plantations on the Kuta ridge in Waghi Valley of Papua New Guinea. We actually had the "AA" grade of this same coffee last year. We love seeing the differences in characteristics between the peaberry and the AA. The coffee is fully washed processed allowing the acidity to shine in the form of orange peel. This coffee has good sweetness giving us the candied flavors and nice complexity in the dried fig and cloves. Papua New Guinea continues to impress us every year and this Kuta Peaberry rank at the top of our list so far!
